The Eiffel Tower is in France in Paris in the 7th arrondissement. The former name of the Eiffel Tower is "300 Meter  Tour".
It was built by Gustave Eiffel in 1887-1889 (in 2 years 2 months and 5 days).
At a height of 312 meters, the Eiffel Tower remained the highest building in the world for 41 years.
The second level of the third floor, sometimes called the fourth floor, located at 279,11 meters, is the highest observation deck open to the public of the European Union and the second in Europe.
