A day at MLK Prep College High School.
Today the Colbert students played "Une Journée A Paris"at the auditorium at 10:15 in front of the American students.


          The actors and actresses getting dressed at 8:30 am. Médiine being Simone de Beauvoir.

                      Une Journée A Paris : a creation inspired from Langston Hugues's biography, from Simone de  Beauvoir's letters to Algren and from Paris Blues to illustrate the Chicago-Paris connection in the 1950s.
  Un grand merci à Alexandra Tomko de la compagnie Drama Ties et  Alexis Rojas professeur de physique-chimie au lycée Colbert et comédien.
 Bravo aux comédiens en herbe du lycée Colbert  qui ont épaté leurs camarades américains ce matin !

Hello Chicago !

Every Tuesday from 6.15 pm to 7.30 pm  at  the lycée  Colbert Club theater in English the students rehearse their play. Last Tuesday They voted for the title of the play and chose to name it in French Une Journée à Paris (thanks Maïmouna for the inspiration!). 

English is not that easy to memorize though ...
